The exiderdome was a mobile B2B exhibition that exhibited 137,000 products from Siemens Automation & Drives in more than 10,000 square feet. Built in China under the management of an OSK team on site, the entire display took just 94 days to produce. It utilized 220 tons of steel, 120 supports, 13 miles of power cable, over a mile of data cable, 600 lights, two 600 kW generators, 60 computers, 70 multimedia screens, six WLAN points, 150 prisms, five HDTV beamers and more.

After ten months and 124 event days in China, the exiderdome traveled through Taiwan, Russia, Mexico, Canada and the USA. It covered a total of around 80,000 miles. Technical management, logistics and tour management were handled entirely by OSK.

The exiderdome was recognized in 2007 with the iF communication design award and the Siemens Best Architect & Builder Award. In 2008, the project was nominated for the German Design Award and was presented with the Siemens Communications Award.
